Claude’s first opened its doors in 2022 as Claude’s Prime Seafood, the vision of owner Ed Harmon and the Benchmark Restaurant Group. Ed wanted to bring something fresh and exciting to Perrysburg — a restaurant where guests could enjoy top-quality seafood, an extensive wine list, and a dining experience that felt just as special as the big cities, right here at home.
Over the years, Claude’s became known for its lively atmosphere, stunning modern-coastal design, and a bar that quickly became a centerpiece — a place where crafted cocktails, wine tastings, and good conversation flowed together.
But just as our community grows, so does its tastes. Ed and the Claude’s team saw that Perrysburg was ready for something new — a place that still celebrates everything people loved about Claude’s, but with a broader American bistro approach. That’s why, in 2025, Claude’s Prime Seafood is evolving into Claude’s Bistro & Bar.
The change is more than just a new name. It’s an expansion of what we offer:
A refreshed menu featuring bistro favorites, chef-driven features, and creative seasonal dishes.
The same big, beautiful bar, serving up handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and local favorites.
An upgraded experience in service and style, designed to meet the way Perrysburg dines today.
